911 Dispatcher Job Description

911 dispatchers are trained to help callers in emergencies by gathering the approriate information, sending the right kind of help, and by giving instructions until help arrives. Dispatchers must be poised under pressure and must have the ability to take control of an unpredictable situation. Our 911 dispatchers also receive specific training in CPR and medical pre-arrival instructions.
